Rain rain and natural park in Andalucia

Today we traveled 200 kilometers through beutiful serpentine roads surrounded by a rich fauna. Little cow families was hiding from the rain under the cork trees, just like Ferdinand. We arrived to Zahara de la Sierra, located in the heart of the Grazalema Nature Reserve.

1992 Tenere

Today was a rainy day so we left the bikes at Paz´s house and played around with his Land Cruiser on the muddy roads of Costa del Sol.
Domingo Paz took us to some good places close to Tarifa. The first one was another fantastic lunch restaurang, “El Pozuelo”. The second place was a BMW dealer with a tested and very well aproved mechanic in Algerciras, www.elventa.com. The third place was “Mendocino Kustoms” who remodel bikes. Domingos Yamaha Tenere from 1992 got a new look.

Facelift, before and after

Vanity made me change the windshield of my GS 800. The Desierto shield from Touratech is now mounted and it turned out it eliminates wind and turbulent as well as it gets a facelift.

Domingo Paz

Domingo Paz is a spanish diver. He repair and inspect big vessels from under the surface. His house is placed on top of a hill with views of Gibraltar and Africa. 7 dogs welcomes us when we arrive to his house. All seven have a awful background but Paz saved them from the streets and gave them a home. His house is like a museum with gadgers from the bottom of the ocean and souvenirs from every corner of the globe. We met Paz in Morocco last oktober.

Porque no?

It´s when you mentally and fysically pusch yourself to new limits that you really get to know your self and others. When you spend weeks together, night and day. Through sad moments, happy days and memories that will stay with you forever.
With a tear on my cheek and a smile in my heart I said good bye to Chris and Jonas when they left Spain this morning.
A new fire is burning inside of me. Hunger to see more of this world from the aspect of a bike.
So “porque no”?
